well .. i've been wanting to play an rpg for the last couples of months and have finally decided to fill my urge with ff6 (the last two i played was ff5 and ff tactics). anyways, i've got a question ... anyone know if there's an mp3 out there of the ff6 intro (the cinematic showing a brief clip of some of the characters, then Terra riding out on magitek armor)?
i remember looking for that mp3 a looooooong time ago (back when Napster still existed) but couldn't find it -_- i've been able to find "the Dream Oath" (very beautiful compilation of the Opera Scene. about 20 minutes long. very beautiful) luckily, but yea, i want the intro too
(hm, speaking of the Dream Oath, i've gotta find that song again. i lost it with my other computer. maybe winmx...)

a quick question about the "Cursed Shield" (i forgot its real name. that evil shield that turns into a Paladin Shield after 9423421491 battles)
if one character is using it, then i unequip it and give it to another character, will it reset the battle count? just wondering. i'm nowhere near that part but i'm just curious. i remember i wanted to switch it from character to character last time i played this game

It was like 251 times; and I don't quite recall (because I never count); but it my guess that the count will be reset if you change the equipement (no proof to back this up, though)

As for the Paladin shield, you uncurse it after 255 battles. And no, the battle count doesn't reset if you switch characters. It's 255 battles total that the shield is equipped. Don't forget to equip a Ribbon with it.
