some info given to me by a friend about a new virus that's out there

"Virus worms its way into image files
- VNUNet
The first ever virus to infect JPEG image files has been developed, according to antivirus software company McAfee Security, a division of Network Associates."

it's from a newsletter he subscribes to. he says the virus doesn't do too much right now though, but i thought i'd post it here for the hell of it. sorry i have no links for more info. i've done a little research and haven't found anything yet

Lately I recieve like 7 mails in on week, that weight like 12o and something kb and says good things like "a new tool", "my first game".... even though the are big in kb they are small in message (thus they are virus), I can not resist the temptation to open them, because they might be am actual message for me and stuff that I care about... the last thing I know is that my OS is screwed behond recognition.... time to modify some things...
