I know only a few here are Tenchu fans... But for those few choosen Tenchu fans, look at this, 5 new screens, courtesy of IGN! Enjoy!
Looks like a more colorful version of Tenchu 1... which is fine by me...
so Rikumaru's back, it's assumable Ayane is too... I wonder if Tatsumaru or any new characters will be playable as well...

THERE IS no way that Tatsumaru will be in Tehchu3 , because Tenchu 2 was a prequal to Tenchu , Spoiler (Highlight to view) - and Tastsumaru killed himself in Tenchu2
End of Spoiler ,and Tenchu 3 takes place after Tenchu2.

considering they're avoiding making games after Tenchu 1 I guess death is unavoidable in the Tenchu world (Geese must be glad he doesn't live there...) but I wasn't sure of the timeline which is why I asked if Tatsu was back...
so knowing that I'll change my reply to: "Hmmm... it seems Rikumaru is back, and I assume Ayane is too... I wonder if there will be any other ninjas in the game?"

I don't like it's new style, I saw a trailer for it and Tenchu 3 is very cutesy. ~_~ I don't get why they'd make it cutesy. Tenchu should be serious.

I'm not sure what to think of the cartoonish look some of the characters have but the trailer I saw had Ayane back in her Tenchu 1 suit and Rikimaru slicing someone's noggin clean off so there were some good images from the game as well [only when discussing a game like Tenchu could the ghoulish image of someone's head rolling around on the floor be seen as a positive sight.] If they can fix up the game problems that hurt Tenchu 2 for me I'll be happy with the game no matter how it looks.

Exactly! If the game plays like Tenchu 1, I will love it, no matter how it looks.
BTW, have you seen the intro of Tenchu - Shinobi Hyakusen???
It's a cool intro showing Ayame fighting against Onikage and Rikimaru selecting items from the item selection room and more cool stuff (Oh, and Semimaru appears too!) If someone is interested, here's the link for the vid Shinobi Hyakusen

hey, i remember Tenchu! well, i think i do. if it's the game i think it is, it's the first game i saw a cinematic of (first time i played ps). i was amazed at the opening
damn that "into the pond" image looks beautiful (and brings back memories) with the lighting and surroundings and everything. hehe, you can tell i'm not a real fan. i'm just enjoying the pretty pictures -_-
