Here is my conmemoration post for the 2000 mark, sad thing that is not an interesting pool, but ho-well, I'm like that.

First things first... DUKE SPOTTED ON KOF '2001, he is on the Italy stage, far to the right, he is the guy that is holding a big guy in the boat, he is doing one of his Burning Fight victory poses...

This info might be appreciated by someone, might feel unusefull to those that dislike the strikers; but here it is a bug involving the strikers of KoF '2001

Of course we all know that you can use more than one striker in a combo; that's the idea of having more than one striker... but there are some heavy limitations to when you can call the striker right... that fabled "Cancel Striker System", that says that you can call an striker after SOME special moves and or when you hit the enemy and he is left standing... now:

If you use an attack and call the striker and later you use another attack that ALSO allows you to call an striker, you will be blessed with the chance of using a one time active striker system, aka calling the striker anywhere.

Here it is a little example with Makishima-sama:

Maxima:
Have Hinako behind, Heidern on the middle and Foxy foward, enemy on the corner

Give a close standing C (only one hit) and input Qcf Neutral + BC; this will call Heidern an later will perform the system one move...
Perform other Qcf + C and call Hinako; While Hinako is hitting use a Qcf + C (but it musn't be a follow up, it must be a "fresh new move"); and then Heidern will hit; then input df + BC and you will call Foxy while giving the df + C; when Foxy hits wait for the enemy to be deep and give a df + C, df + C and finish the combo with an uppercut motion with D (that will be f, d, df + D or 623 + D).

If that explanation seems to complicated, here's the combo with my particular simbology.

- cls C (1 hit), call Heidern; Qcf + C x 2, call Hinako; Qcf + A; Heidern §; df + C, call Foxy; df + C, df + C; JP CD.

Or cls (1 hit), call Heidern; x 2; call Hinako; ; Heidern hits; ; call Foxy;

The drag is that if you use any attack on where you can not call the striker you wont be able to call it... so there are some restrictions to this method, but you can still call the striker after any normal
attack (crouching or jumping) after some special moves... BUT NOT THAT AFTER, for example if you use that method to call King an then you attack, if you use some special moves you won't be able to call the striker; but you can use as many normal moves as you want (can) and then call the striker... here is other example with Ramon-sama:

Ramon:

Center of the screen or you in the corner;
Angel behind, Foxy foward & K' in the center

Give a close standing C, a df + B and then do Qcb + BC (that's the cancel and Angel), give a step foward and give a far standing C, then Angel will hit; approach and give another close standing C, call Foxy with df + BC, Qcb + C, walk with a far standing C and then Foxy will hit; while the enemy is in the air press BC to call K'; give a close standing C and after the punch K' will hit, then jump with a CD to finish the combo... here's the shorter version of the combo.

- cls C; df + B, call Angel; Qcb + C, far C; §; cls C, call Foxy; df + B; Qcb + C; far C; §, call K'; cls C; §; JP CD.

- close stananding , call Angel;far standing; close standing far standing ; Foxy hits, call K':close standing , K' hits

* I will later update this with the motions icons of the cafe, for now I got things to do... by this time I am doing a "perfect guide" with this teory.

I just uploaded a guide for Ramon and another for Maxima, by this time I am working on the "all characters"; I got almost ready K', Maxima, Whip, Lin, Japan's team, Iori's team, Leona, Terry & Andy

If someone wants a little preview of them, feel free to ask.

you will never be up to single posting!...?...?!?

anyways, toxico, you've got access to the 2k1 stages? i'm *still* trying to figure out where some of the locations in the korean stages are, since i could basically only figure out '97(which told you anyways, duh)...

all i know for the 2k1 korea stage is that one of the banners says "korea team fighting", an equivalent motto to the current world cup banter for korea's team.

Good, because one story won't do, it is necessary to read all eight in order for the reader to understand what's going on, I might be able to finish ot before last year... maybe, if you DO want to peek what I got feel free to ask (after all, you have the right to know what you are publishing), as I say by this time I got the first of the eight short stories (40 or so pages).

The pics have been sent.

no peeking...i've got too much to peek at already creative-wise, and refuse to do any more peeking.

and i messed up, cause now i remember translating that banner in the 2k1 korea stage. it doesn't say fighting, it says korea team invincible!!! okay. still dunno where it is, but the lamps look authentic. hmm....
