i'm playing Bahamut lagoon in ENGLISH on my dc.

i could also be playing seiken densetsu 3, or front mission... maybe even tales of phantasia in english!

why? these games have been fan-translated, and i have an snes emulator for dreamcast.

the emulator runs games at about 90% but it's still being worked on.

anyone interested?

edit- oh, sorry for making it sound like it's my emulator, it's not. i couldn't code toast into the toaster, not even if i used my hands. the emulator is called Dreamsnes

Eh? Has SNES emulation on the DC gotten non-sucktacular since I stopped paying attention to it? The last emu I tried ran at under 5 fps.

Also, I heartily recommend Front Mission. I played it through untranslated, at a time when I knew next to no Japanese, and enjoyed every second. I like it a lot better than Front Mission 3 also (never played 2).

yeah i use dreamsnes. its very nice, fullscreen, but with sound, some games are kinda slow. also i have not found frameskip option for full speed.

most run perfect with no sound. decent with sound. turning transparency off can help a lot too, but a lot of games rely on transparency effects.

Bahamut Lagoon? There's a full translation now?

Personally, I'm waiting for a Radical Dreamers translation
