it's a game called "acchi muite hoi".

One person point up, down, left, or right, and the other person have to look one of the four directions at the same time.
If you point in the same direction they turned their heads, you win. You "get" them.

The sentence points out how GGXX's gameplay is similar to this game "acchi muite hoi", and using the illustration to capture the feel.
