"YEAAAAA BAIKEN!!" , posted Tue 4 Jun 20:31
Baiken is still the hottest.
I really like Baiken, but her voice annoys me. It's like Kenshin's, but way the hell lower. The high voices most anime/game females have aren't my favorite, but it's even less natural for a woman to have a voice that low. It comes off sounding like she's mumbling. Also, she immediately reminded me of Baiko from Saber Marionette J. Their names, appearances and voices are just a little too similar...
weird. that's twice today i've heard that her voice sounds like Kenshin's. maybe i just don't see it. i'm guessing they gave her a low voice because first it fits her gruff personality and second, well, kids, don't smoke
when i first saw Baiken, i thought she was clearly a Kenshin ripoff. then i eventually fought her and noticed a low yet feminine voice. and then i noticed her chest and that cleared everything up O_O after that, i tried her out and instantly fell in love with her. after playing all these games and watching all this anime, i think i've developed a new fetish for these alchohol-loving or smoking-types (see my tag. ah, Kitsune ). she's also got counters ^_^ and everybody loves counters, hehe. screw your tiers! i'll take you down with a pipe-smoking, sake-drinking kimono babe!
man i love Baiken so much. i think i've mentioned it before, but i've even written a paper for my English class on Baiken (i forgot the exact topic. it was "something analysis" or something.) i think i did a pretty good job. i'll try to retrieve it from my friend later so i can post it or something (i wrote it on his computer). as far as i can remember, there's only one inaccuracy in it. i didn't know exactly who "the man" was so i just assumed it was Justice (i've only played the PS2 version of GGX so i've never even seen Justice before, although i've heard he's a hugeass monster, probably too big to be "the man")
