I've been pondering this for a while and have come to the conclusion that SNK's idea for the outfits worn by the lower ranking NESTS members are inspired by cowboy wear. It's the most evident in Kula and Angel.

Actually I heard they (coat version) were inspired by Prince but that could just be a rumor.

NESTS... Some of them have style, some of them not. Period
For the record, K9999 gave me more the impresion of being inspired on Cowboys, of course that is when you get over the fact that he is ALSO a clon of Tetsuo

I've never thought of Kula as dressing like a cowboy... more like a biker. She doesn't have those legging-things cowboys wear, or the hat ( of course.. ha ha ha! ^_^) BTW, I've seen a picture of a character from another game with a coat DANGEROUSLY like Krizalid's.. I'll get back on this...

hell yea ^_^ (i assure you, a VERY ugly picture of me, but i LOVE this hat, hehehe)
Maybe that could be your costume in the MMCafe fighting game. And you could use lassos to throw opponents and have deadly spinning spur attacks. That would be pretty funny
