Yeah, this is really dumb. This girl was messed up in the head or something. To kill yourself because you can't win at Bomberman is rediculous. I get pissed off when I lose too (BELIEVE ME), but I don't get suicidal. If anything, I'd want to kick the crap outta the person winning.

Actually, it says "You are Dead." But I doubt the girl took her life because of videogames, and her mom blamed cartoons, not videogames. Neither of them is probably the real reason the girl committed suicide...and she was awfully young too....I don't hear about people that age committing suicide. In any case, videogames are the reason I eat weird mushrooms and shoot fireballs after eating special flowers.

Y'know, you can't really blame cartoons for anything anymore. Not to sound old, but cartoons were WAY more violent than they are now. I'd come home from school and watch Popeye and see to sailors beat the living shit outta each other, then watch Tom & Jerry and watch a cat and a mouse beat the shit outta each other. Not to mention the other violent cartoons like Looney Tunes. There's a guy with a shotgun and another guy with two revolvers and there's a damn animal building bombs and falling off cliffs and shit
There's nothing like that on TV anymore.

You make a very good point, and I agree. I watched cartoons my whole life and they used to be a lot worse violently, but I knew it was just a cartoon. And as was said by someone else, if she said she wanted to vanish, then that was a definate sign.
