imported DC's have a cord that looks like this where they plug into the system: '00' while US ones look like this: '0[]'

I lost my import DC's cord so if just shaved a US DC's cord (which are easy to find compared to the impossible import ones) so the [] fit into the import DC would it work? or would it blow up the system in a fire blaze of failure?

I believe it will work just fine...my friend used to shave the edges of his US cord to fit in his Japanese DC and we played that sucker for days on end with no problem...

Japanese systems run on the same current as U.S. systems, so I don't see why it shouldn't work.... but there might be more to it than that.
