Surprisingly, my local arcade picked up this game a little while ago. IMO, this game is less than interesting. Some, and I repeat, SOME of the characters look alright, but I found the designs lacking overall. The backgrounds themselves aren't all that bad either.
As for the animation, when the characters are in their stances, they animate pretty well, but once they start attacking the quality of the animation takes a HUGE nosedive. See the Lotus Master and his moves: the animation just gets UGLY.
Also, there's a characters in the game that can continuously throw fireballs. You know most fighting games have a limit of one fireball on screen (from each character) at any time? This character (looks like a little boy) can have any amount of fireballs on screen at any time that he wants! That's BASTARDLY!
