Like, what's the dilly? Do we have any reliable emulators out there yet and are any of them Sprite Ripping friendly? Last I was in the scene was before Bleem was a pay thing. Just checking...

Hmm...

Connectix VGS is the best as far as compatibility and speed goes. It displays at full screen so sprite ripping isn't recommended. However, I have found that VGS doesn't run on Win 2k/XP (even with the win 95/98 option on).

Hmm... EPSXE runs good too and is good for good proportionate ripping. However, on my PC (1GHZ AMD Duron laptop), the audio (ADX?) is buggy. Some of it works, some doesnt.

Thanks for the updates, Burning Ranger. I was thinking about switching over to XP soon, not that this PS Emulator is going to be the breaking point, but it's a minor consideration... A very minor consideration.

I still have an ancient video card so I can use NeoRAGEx 0.6b to rip! ;D Any how, I'm also 'beating' you by four points... Go, me, go! Where's your avatar from, by the by?
