Early June I'll be having my first date. Please help me with some things NOT to do.

Failed Scripts:

Shenzi: What do you expect us to do kill Mufasa?
Scar: Not really but an episode of the Teletubbies will certainly put him in mental shock.

Don't panic

Seriously, just be cool, calm, and collected. The date will go much smoother that way.

Some things that might help:

-Don't use cheesy pick-up lines
-Don't be late, or on time. Be EARLY.
-Don't be nervous.
-Don't be too shy.
-Don't talk about video games all day(a little bit will suffice)
-Don't be someone that you're not. Be yourself.
-Don't go to any fast food joints
-Don't forget your watch

Define "fast food"? I'm planning Mexican and she seems fine with it. She's not picky about what she eats unless of course it is obviously bad.

Mexican's cool. I mean burger places like McD's or BK.

Most of all, pay attention to her and look her in the eyes. If you wanna date her, then something must obviously be attractive about her. So pay attention and listen, you'll have much better conversation like that.

If she has a good time, you'll get another date most likely. Love is a fickle thing, both selfish and virtous. If you feel good when you're around someone, you'll slowly grow to like them. Friends, neighbors, lovers, etc. If they make you feel bad, no matter how much you may "love" them. It'll be destroyed in the end.

So bottom line. Have a good time and if you can, make sure she does as well. That's what's important. <Love lasts a whole lot longer than sex does...>

hmmm... it seems you will need the help of FrenchRomanceMan !!!
(turns on himself really quick until he changes in FrenchRomanceMan)

First, listen to her. Ask her questions about her, anything, but not too personnal. if she askes questions about you, answer, but be carefull not to be too long, like "I'm not important, you are, I want to listen to you".
Be there early, and wait her by doing nothing but looking everywhere if you see her coming. GAME BOY ADVANCE IS EVIL, forget it.
...
Oh, and a last important thing : even if it's true, DON'T TELL HER YOU HAVE A HUGE (censored), she'll find out early enough.

Important too: RELAX. If you're too nervous chances are that you'll screw it. If she already knows you then it's easier, I think.

I won't say too much else because I suck at first dates...

Nice to hear it anyway.
Good luck!

OK, so what's the big deal about eating a fruit? Dates have a sweet taste, don't worry about it...Just chew slowly and don't swallow it whole, coz the seed is inedible.

Your "score" meter depletes at alarming rates inside an arcade. I seen several times mr big guy playing tekken with the girl on the side with a huge "im bored face."

The plan is actually: Eat, Arcade, Movie. She likes video games even though she doesn't own any. I'll be picking her up from her apartment.

If the arcade is part of the plan, then show her DDR. She might enjoy that more than the fighting games.

Wow! First date, huh? I never went on one. I don't think I ever will.

Anyway, pretty much everyone told you advice. I'll look over your scenario.

Food - Good. Mexican is a fine choice.

Arcade - Hmmm...

Girls are usually into puzzle games. Show her Puzzle Bobble, Mr. Driller or Puzzle Fighter.

Chances are that she may be into coordination games. So, most likely, she'll jump to Dance Dance Revolution. If she's not good with her legs, show her something else, but not Pump it Up. Show her a game like Para Para Paradise or any other Bemani game.

If somehow, she is into fighters, show her CvSII or Tekken IV. Trust me. Not many girls are into games like Moero! Justice Gakuen. Oh wait. Daala has a site on the Justice Gakuen series. *lol*

Anyway, yeah. Not many girls like fighters like Gekka no Kenshi II. Many girls will be lost on a game like that. So, showing her main stream stuff won't get a girl lost.

Movie - Just watch whatever you two can agree on. I didn't watch Spiderman, but my brother told me, if you have been a Spiderman fan for a while, saw the cartoon, you would pretty much know what would happen overall.

That's all for now. Gambatte Zam-kun! ^_^

Um, I'm not being negative. That's what I should do. Why?

I don't want to say it, but I'm going into priesthood. If you become a priest, you can't get married. Once you become a priest, you're commit your life to the church and nothing more. As of now, I should learn how not to go out with a girl and it's a good way to discipline myself.

So, yeah. That's why I say that.

Nah. A marriage is a commitment. Once you get married, you're commited to your spouse. Once you become a priest, you're commited to the church.
