I'm going to have to agree with you guys on this one, although there are plenty of good games with awesome art in them (XvSF, MvC2, each of the Darkstalkers games, SSF2T, SSF2TR, MotW, KoF2000, etc.)

I voted for other cause i like so many of the styles here, and like the art style of so many other games. Like the Castlevania Symphony of the night style, or Amano's art for Final Fantasy. Or Fujishima's ToP and Sakura Wras art...

the art for this korean RPG 'Magna Carta' and ' War of Genesis' is some of the best art I ever saw.

Edyan is still GOD though....it is a 'she' is'nt it?

Forgot Fujishima, silly me! While I'm at that, I liked Shirow's work for Ghost in the Shell, and the animation direction in the FMV's from the game (the director was Cowboy Bebop's character designer, BTW).

Speaking of that, GITS 2 should be coming out this year in English (Or early next year...)

And yes, the manga art is much better than the movie art. Way too realstic when comapred to Shirow's orginal designs...

i also voted for justice gakuen, i liked the art more in the first game than in the dc sequel though. i also like the darkstalker and street fighter 3 art (except third strike...) cannon spike has great art too!
