This has been posted before but I can't find the thread. Can this game be bought at any online store? And I don't mean eBay (yuck!).

I mean the Japanese version of course. I hear the board game and character edit (or character create even?) is good. It's probably overhyped and not-so-good but I need to satisfy my curiosity, know what I mean?

The character creation and board game are fine, but not as good as the date game and character creation in Seishun Nikki 2. (I think it wasn't released in the States? the playstation game with Nagare and Ran...)

So it's not worth finding just for the board game and character edit features?

I can't find any online retailers that have it.

Oh, I forgot : When you beat the board game, you win cute SD dolls. They are all wonderfull, beautifull, EXCITING !!! and Yurika looks like QBee.
it's up to you if this feature worth buying the game or not.

You mean the gameplay or the gameplay+board game?

I'm asking because I can find the PAL version easily enough, which doesn't have the board game, but I can't find the Japanese version anywhere!

And if the board game's that good, then I want the Japanese one.

i think you might be a little too hyped up for the board game alone (unless you really like board games).
it's basically spin the wheel, move that number of spaces along the board, land on a space and get something (stat increase/decrease, a special technique, cards, etc). you'll automatically get cards at certain points in the game (i think after every 5 turns? i forget) and they can affect the game in various ways (warp to another space, initiate a battle, get a friend, etc). all the characters are scattered around the board. you talk to them to learn their super special attack or have them be your friend (which can help you in fights and make them happy). that's basically it, get the best stuff before all the turns are over to make the best character

i've beaten it a couple of times and i never got a sd doll...i want one so bad!! do you have to get that akira or ran ending to get a doll? does everyone have to be super happy?

Thanks for the information. I've found the import but it's almost twice the price that the PAL version goes for, so I might stick with PAL.
