To be honest, I'm not that interested in either series anymore. Both series have gone dull as of late. About Zelda: I didn't liked Ocarina and Majora's, but I loved the Oracles.
About Mario: the last Mario game I liked was SMW2: Yoshi's Island.
nothing is like a new mario or Zelda games they are the best , and I hope to see new ideas! I am expecting alot from Mario Sunshine.

I have liked all the Zelda and Mario games. I thought the 64 games were great. My fav. Zelda games though are the first two on Nintendo (though I have them all). If the other new Zelda game is a compilation with a facelift, I will be so happy if the first two games are on it. It's cool that two new Mario and two new Zelda games are on the way.

I heard they called it Super Mario world X but it was just a testing for the site (>_<) so no new games! too bad.

True, they were doing testing for the site one day, but this news isn't based on what they had tested. There is another Zelda and Mario game on the way, according to the article.

"false rumor"

Well, as a big Mario/Zelda fan, I'm sad to report that Quiter has verified the rumor as false... (and extra jeers to IGN for misleading even more people) According to Quiter, the latest issue of Dengeki Gamecube does not mention anything about another Mario/Zelda game.
Maybe Nintendo will still surprise everyone and announce them at E3, but I highly doubt that'll be the case...
