Forest of Illusion 1: This is undoubtedly one of the best spots in the game to rack up lives. Make sure you have a cape, and then pass the midway checkpoint. Shortly afterward, on the platform above the extra goal key and keyhole, you'll see three Wigglers and a few Koopa Troopas. Here's what you need to do...
Step 1: Carefully pick out the three Koopa Troopas in the area using your spin jump, so they don't get in the way.
Step 2: Jump from one Wiggler to the next, using your cape to float between them. If you go back and forth through all three, you'll be able to multiply your score until you start receiving 1UPs, 2UPs, 3UPs and eventually continuous 5UPs. If a Wiggler is red (angry), you won't get any points. To avoid this, be sure to float a little bit out of range and then float back without hitting the ground to "reset" them to normal.
Step 3: Revel in your newfound 1UP-ness!
