I'm glad that they never made a spanish site. The spanish text in the SNK games is several times more horrible than the english one... It doesn't makes sense at all, and a lot of words are invented...

Fortunately(?) the official HP's of SNK/Playmore's Korean partners, Eolith & Mega Enterprise, don't seem to be suffering from typical SNK-translations... (ditto for the Korean text in KOF2K1)

Answer:
This is actually an INTENTIONAL play on words on their part. Roman = age/era. The Last Blade series is set during the Bakumatsu period in Japan (directly before the Meiji Restoration). LB2's Japanese name being Bakumatsu Roman: Dai Ni Maku Gekkano Kenshi. It's one of several examples of words from European languages slipping into the Japanese language during that period.

Aww. it's great to see the SNKgrish again. I was so worried after SNK shut down in Japan. ;_; I'm glad they're finally picking themselves back up. But now Shinkuro is with Capcom! he was their best artist. =( oh Well, this was a nice wave of nostalgia.
(You probably already know, but the japanese title of Last Blade is Bakumatsu Roumen The Last Blade. ^_^ Or something along those lines. Hence the mention of Romans.)
