Note that I didn't add World Hero's since that's an ADk game. Same for Waku Waku 7 (Sunsoft) and DD/Gowcaizer (Technos). It's a little to early to put ROTD there, so...:P

KOF & Samurai Shodown series are no doubt SNK's best franchises, but Garou Densetsu (Fatal Fury) series will always remain as my favorite... Just because of the fact if it wasn't for the amazing Fatal Fury 2, the first game that actually managed to pull me away from Street Fighter II, I'd have never got into NeoGeo scene and became a SNK fan that I am today.

Hungry wolves??? Nope, just one of me here. You're right, the Garou Densetsu series is great. Of course I would say that since Terry is my favorite fighting game character of all time. And Fatal Fury 2 is a great game.

Gekka no Kenshi probably.

KoF was strong early on, but as of late, it hasn't been that hot.

Samurai Spirits was great when it had the 3P and 3K format. After Shin Samurai Spirits (Samurai Shodown II), I didn't play the SS series that much.

Garou Densetsu is great, but it had a few factors that turned me off a bit (like being able to hit your partner in the first game).

Wasn't really fond of the system of Ryuko no Ken.

So, I guess I liked Gekka the most.

Hmmm... I guess it's a toss-up between Samurai Shodown and Last Blade.

KOF is definitely a close 2nd.

World Heroes' a close 3rd.

AOF follows that (Any fighter that restricts you from cheessing with specials and allows you to punch out fireballs is cool in my book.).

FF afterthat (At least the characters I liked got more show than the ones I hate *COUGH!* SF II *COUGH!* )

And finally, the misc games (DD, Breakers, Ninja Masters).

Samurai Freakin' Showdown ALL THE FREAKIN' WAY! I utterly LOVE this series (well, parts 1,2,4, and 64 anyway).

Fatal Fury comes in second, it has mostly great characters (more than KoF, in my opinion) and this series produced some great games, especially RBFF2 and the mighty MotW.

I guess Last Blade comes third, because I don't think it's completely terrible, but it does leave a lot to be desired. I'd rather play this than...

KoF. I just don't like this series, most of the characters in this series, and the gameplay just ain't for me, and lastly...

AoF. Ick. Just...ick.

KoF games can be atractive depending on the approach you give to them; for example in most SF I sweat my ass of against cheap players; but in KoF I waste them with ease... that means that I have approached better KoF than SF, I do not think of my self as an hardcore KoF fan, but many people think of me otherwise.

SS games have always cool storylines & character desings and that is why I like them so much.

But I believe that AoF is divine... the originality, the approach, everything it appeals to me; but that is me.
