I hadn't expected Capcom to get as many votes as it has, and it doesn't surprise me in the least bit that SNK is getting more votes. Look at the facts:
1. This was originally an all SNK board to begin with, so this board is probably better known with SNK fans. Thus, more SNK fans will vote.
2. Of all the sites that have links to this site, I haven't seen a single Capcom themed site except maybe RS Network. Not only that, but the links only have pictures of SNK characters, no Capcom characters, which makes this look like an SNK themed site.
3. Gunsmith is perhaps the Proff's best friend online (correct me if I'm wrong Proff), and he's the guy in charge of Orochinagi.com. Make of that what you will.
Overall, I think that if this poll was done someplace like SF.org, SRK.com, or T.U.F.F. the results would lean more toward Capcom.
Meh, it doesn't bother me, really. I may be a chiefly Capcom fan, but SNK deserves the respect that they're getting.

Heh, I don't think Capcom's being beat thaaaat badly. It's definately losing by a significant amount, but not really getting... outright crushed? ^^ Seems about right to me that they'd be pretty close to each other, I think. Technically, they're almost the same thing anyways because employees jump from one to the other often, I hear.
At any rate, I myself prefer Capcom slightly more, but only slightly. I prefer the character-based style of Capcom storylines a bit more, and of course, Capcom has the Dolls. But that's all just personal preference, and there's tons of fun stuff with SNK, too. Both are great companies.

Snk = GOOD.
Ya know its funny but capcom people always have cutesy colorful girls next their posts.
Snk people usually have different stuff.
Maybe it goes with the capcom nutrasweet cvs2 style.

You're right. Capcom is not taking a beating, this was my expected results, more or less.

Do you consider Juli to be a 'kawai' character? Wow, I never considered the Dolls to be kawaii besides Juni and Enero, though.
