Save the image as a .tif, and make sure that you scan it as black and white line art, otherwise you'll get a huge image (as in bytes, this method will allow you to have a big image without it being heavy on kb) try it with a resolution of 300 dpi, see how that works.
Another thing we can do is send the scans via AIM or ICQ, if you have them send me your screen name or icq number and we'll see what we can work out.
I've tried mailing the image to you,but apparently, the resolution or size was too big,and wouldn't upload to anything. Did you get my e-mail?
Would you suggest a size(ex. 256x96)? I'll try again.
I ought to suggest to zip the TIF file when sending, since not all image programs compresses it in LZH scheme automatically. TIFs at 300DPI still go by the megs unless you compress it.
Rest au Rant .. . .

Checked the mailbox but still not there. If you got ICQ or AOL instant messager, mail me the icq number or your AOL screen name to transfer the file.
The higher the resolution, the higher the quality of the cg, try it out when you make your cgs.

So,I'll try mailing it regular. But you were right, the TIFF thing did work.
BTW,why do you need it so high?
