I've been waiting since 1998 for this movie (when it was firt announced that it was in the planning stages) 4 years later it finally exists and I can't wait to see it...
That is if it has the whole TV cast in it, and doesn't disregard them like Movie 2 did. One of the few really good anime movies I hate simply for what it did to the cast and characters I liked...
Oh well, the Mini-Pato features that are coming with it look really cool, and more Patlabor is a welcome thing.

Yeah, I can't wait for it to be released later this month!
And I hope they keep Noa Izumi's original voice actress for the movie (Miina Tominaga). She's also the voice of Angel <--------

There's a new movie?
Man, I've always wanted to watch the series, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so.

Patlabor is one of my favorite mecha series of all time. The TV series is just a nice blend of comedy, action, and police drama. And I still love Noa Izumi as a character...
Sadly CPM seems to be dragging their feet on the DVD version (Only 2 discs in the span of a year...-.-).

Unfortunately, Noa and co. from the original series are nothing but supporting characters that make very little appearance in the movie.
Although the movie is loosely based off the manga episode "Haikibutu (waste) No.13", it uses entirely new set of characters.
