You forgot the "violent, sexy but a bit masculine female" there!
But anti-heroes are my usual characters. Gambit rules!

EEEEEEEVVVIIIIIIILLLLL!!!!

Bad guys (most, anyway) rock. However, in my list of favorite characters, I could find at least one of each of these character designs.

It's "the Evil Villian" redundant? it's like "the female girl character", but that's what I vote for anyway, villians are keen.

Mmmhh... No, I think it's not redundant.
You see, most villians are evil, but not everyone.

A good example is Magneto, he's a villian, but he's not evil.

Akuma is a villian, but he's not evil, he's not killing random people or planing in conquer the world like Bison (now that's evil!)

On the other hand, we have evil people that are not necessarily villians, like Hiroshi Yamauchi or Bill Gates (ha ha!)

Wouldn't that be something like Chaotic good, neutral good or lawful evil according to D&D terms?

Mmmhh, the only D&D I've played is in videogame form, so, I don't know the rules or the terms of the pen and paper game...

Evil is all how you look at it... Magneto is "evil", it's just very justified evil. (for give my loose understanding of his goal, I'm not a Marvel reader -_-) He wants mutants to survive, he's tired of them being discriminated againist and hunted so he takes a stand, unlike Xaiver who wants the world to exist in peace he makes his stand by launching a militant campaign againist humanity, to him mutants must survive at the cost mankind. To some mutants, this is certainly not "evil" it could even pass as 'noble', but to human he's decided to use his powers on to make their blood stop flowing he certain is an "evil bastard"

even the word "villian" is debate able... Akuma might antagonize Ryu and Gen, but is he really evil? He's more like a deicated warrior, if you're on the boat h accidentily blows up practicing his new fire ball, sucks to be you, you shouldn't interupt his training. He's not out there trying to get everyon pissy, he just likes to fight.

Just conflicting ideas, but not evil.

yeah that makes more sense.

I always dig the female anti-hero. Vice from KOF, Makoto from SF3, and my new hero, Lobelia from Sakura Taisen 3.

How is Makoto an anti-hero? Just curious, I love third strike, but I just don't know all of those characters stories. Makoto is cool.

Mmhh, I think when he refers to anti hero, he's talking about Makoto not being the classic cute and good girl, she's harsh and very strong.

Hmm, well, that's not exactly the definition of an anti-hero, and I think Makoto is a cute character still. She's awesome (but not better than Ibuki, she is a great fighter).

Yeah, that's not the definition of an anti hero, but I think it was the closest thing to it...
And yeah, I think Makoto is extremely sexy and cute, just dizzy her and look when her shoulder shows!
Plus, I love her hair!

My definition of an anti-hero is someone who is out to do something great in the world, but for selfish or evil reasons. Makoto is out to prove her school's superiority over all others by busting heads left and right. That's pretty anti-heroic.

Oh, I was just joking around. I don't know what category he would fall into. He's just avenging his sensei's death, not a particularly heroic goal, but not selfish enough to make him an anti-hero. He's really just some guy with a sword.

It's really no big surprise I voted for the feminine bad guy. I'm sure ALL of you guys saw that one comming. Though.... I must say that anti-heros, playboys, and flat out evil guys are also just cool. But... alas I could only vote for one!

I'm a BIG fan of Sephiroth, even after all this time. I dunno... It runs deeper than just his popularity. It's really thanks to that character alone that I played FFVII and because of that I became a gamer. Though.... at first I was unsure of whether ... *ahem* he was a he or she. ^_^;

I actually dislike Kefka.. annoying.

Rid's got it right, though! I love Fou-Lu to death, addicted to Emldor, Kuja is God, and Sydney is awesome. (There's a history behind that one too.)

But there are others too. I'm also a fan of certain weaklings.. but that wasn't an option. ^_^;
