Ignitz, the man who essentially was Nests Cartel, bites it...and Eolith has more to the story?
Okay...I admit that I kinda liked the whole Nests angle, if for no other reason that it was a struggle among PEOPLE (you know, what the teams in KOF are comprised of?), and not gods and demons and spirits and sorcerers and witches and talismans and holy symbols and blood and three heroes preordained as the winners for no good reason (c'mon, face it) who rendered the other 95% of the competitors, as well as the entire tournament, meaningless. But a fourth installment...that's a bit much. I don't believe in arbitrary time limits, but what exactly do they have to work with here? Somehow, I doubt that The Great Chinese Ideological War With Really Obscure Subtexts Going Back 4000 Blah Blah Blah is going to fly.
Anyway, if Eolith ever does get around to a dream match...I have no idea what ’02 is going to be like...here’s what I want to see. In order:
1. They should make it a real dream match, with competitors from every KOF game that ever existed, and possibly other notable franchises (definitely Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting at least, and there is no reason to rule out Samurai Shodown). I’ve changed my stance on single entries; if that’s what it takes to get Eiji Kisaragi, Saisyu Kusanagi, Mature etc. etc. in there, so be it. (And who besides me still takes a full team, anyway?) I’m not particularly concerned about “story” ramifications. In fact, the dream match should become the story. No more of this garbage about entire games not counting toward the “official” storyline (and have you noticed that the “unofficial” games are starting to outnumber the “official” ones?). Anyone who’s been following Street Fighter for the last eight years or so should know better. KOF is a dream match, so let’s make it official.
2. Resolutions. E.g., Kyo and Iori should acknowledge that there’s absolutely no reason to continue their feud and just give it up. And Athena should admit that her digust toward Sie’s foolishness (and Sie’s foolishness) is just an act, occupational demands be damned. And Andy and Mai should have a wedding ceremony which goes horribly wrong (because Andy is vehemently opposed to the institution of marriage), so they can never marry and that’s the end of that.
3. Un-break what been broke. All the characters that have been excessively toned down should return to their natural state (esp. Goro). And one striker per team, no more, no less. Hardly anyone uses strikers anymore, so that’s no great loss.
4. No Orochi anything. Repeat: No Orochi anything. Did I mention no Orochi anything? The Orochi subplot was an enormous black hole which sucked the life out of any and all other stories (contributing at least in part to the really lame story the Kyokugenryu team had in ’01). No more. Forget it.
And as much as I’d like to play someone like Real Zero, I don’t think he should ever be anything but a boss. The reason he’s so menacing is that he has three cool striker attacks and takes damage like a tank. Seeing him do half as much damage, not to mention take about 50 times as much just because you’re playing him would be...well, weird. (I feel the exact same way about Shin Akuma and Ultimate Rugal, BTW.)

I just heard some rumors that Long and thw woman will be a playable character or maybe a mid-boss, and the finall boss will be a new character... I hope to see some one like Igniz or at least like Geese

Another dreammatch would be pretty cool. Hopefully,they'll have the great background they had in 96 and 97,like the 96 girls team,97's carnival stage,97's China stage,94's and 95's England stages,and 96's bosses stages. Arguably the best backgrounds that I've seen from SNK. 
Well,maybe make a couple of strikers playable. Like that Duke Edwards. You know,mix up the characters a bit. And also,as I've said before,bring back Billy Kane and Yamazaki!

I'm with you Rid!
A sengoku3 team will be great, just imagine a team with:Byyaki(my favorite), Okuni(Maï's new rival),Falcon(galford and charlotte hidden son ), and Kurenaï(very pretty).
But tell me everybody, did the dragon story didn't remember you the last blade senario???
Well if Kensou is the dragon, A sakazai member may be the tiger, and a flame user the phénix...and i find nobody for the turle..
If it is true, it meens the Hades gate comeback, with an Orochi like boss, sound good no?
