If Soul Calibur 2 is coming out with a version GBA, does this mean I have to get a game cube now? oh my god no! *sigh* Well, if I have to give into the GC... I'll get the Panasonic version. That thing is nice looking.

BTW, is the Panasonic GC a limited release console? Or it'll be just another variant?

I don't think it's a limited edition, but I do know it's avilable in Japan only. and in addition to looking sharp, the unit can also play DVD movies, meaning the unit won't be a paperweight if the GC crashes and burns in the new console wars...:)

But the price is quite... unhealthy. USD $499.00 is a lot to pay for a console!

it's a lot cheaper them my japanese ps2 ($700), so I'll try to hold out and see if the price goes down a bit.
