Since KOF started in 94, there has only been 2 years (94 and 96) where they have absoultely no secret codes for whatsoever in the arcade versions...Every other year 95, 97, 98, 99, 00 all has some secret codes to activiate something...

Is this year going to be a "codeless" year?

I thought Chizuru and Goenitz were playable in 96? So doesn't that mean 94 is the only codeless KOF out there? And if you think that's the best, I'll sick the sports team on ya

Yea, hold start for alternate characters. Counts as a code.

Yes, if you flip dip switch 3, it should make the bosses usable; you might have to hold start over a character or something to use them, though ( for example, to use Zero in 2000, you need to turn dip 3 on, go to Kula, hold start, hit down, and select Zero... you should also turn dip three off again after this, unless you want odd numbers to pop up on the screen during your fight )

In '97 & '99 you needed to select any character an while selecting the orther activate that switch; on the next fight the first character will become the boss... funny thing; in all KoF, and almost on every SNK games unselectable characters have 2 colors... except Orochi as far as I recall.

I don't own KOF for home cart or MVS, so I wouldn't know about '97. ^_^ I know it's true for 2000 and '99, though. I hope it's true for 2001. ^_^ Also, Toxico, give those movies I uploaded a try. I bet you'd like them.

I will try now... BTW I got some movies about some glitches with Zero; open ICQ and I will pass them to you.

Hehe, can't say that I see a pattern for
codeful and codeless kof years :)

Did 2001 have a code for anything? I don't
know because I haven't played it yet ;_;
