Up until now, the magazine was basically like a watered down Dengeki G'z and it covered a lot of gal games. With the renewal, the magazine will start covering everything from handhelds (DS, PSP) to arcade games. It'll still feature a DVD, which this time will be Hybrid and include contents for PC as well as trailers.

The magazine's price is going to be jacked up from 580 yen to 880 yen. That's almost the price of a month's subscription of shonen Jump. Except Jump is 450 pages x 4 issues, whileas Gamaga is 160 pages.

It seems as though the magazine will still continue to be gal-game based. The explanation on its press statement reads, "Gamaga will continue to be a Deep game magazine that is centered on core game information".

Jenet and Kim have their same costumes from 2D games and SNK Playmore seems to have done a relatively convincing job turning them into 3D... though personally, I'm wondering how good a job the developers will do with Jenet's costume movement, because after all, her dress is long.

Ninon is the younger sister of Minon Beart (the pink hair), and she's called the "little girl who dances with the devil" (akuma to odoru shoujo). She's got short blond hair and wears a black Gothic Lolita costume. Uses a black magic and Chinese martial arts for fighting. She likes to poke fun at her bigger sister, and she's entered the tournament to prove that she's a better witch than her.
Asura (Samurai Spirits series)
Hanzo & Fuma (World Heroes series)
The World Heroes series is a product of ADK-- as the game's title suggests, NeoGeo Battle Colesium will include characters from not only SNK, but from other publisher's games that were released on the NeoGeo. Representatives at the show commented that the characters announced today are "just the tip of the iceberg", and that more characters will be revealed in the future. 8 character slots on the character select screen are still marked with "?"s-- some of them will be revealed at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show later this month.

The two new main characters of NeoGeo Battle Colesium were also announced; the male's name is Yuki, and the female's name is Ai. The two characters are most likely to be Japanese, considering their names.
